From cultural background to coaching
In 2012, after a successful career in the film industry and a reflective interlude within the European institutions, I chose coaching as my new professional passion.
I first trained in humanist coaching at the LCA (Leading and coaching academy). Humanist coaching explores the 4 main spheres of being (physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual) to optimise the achievement of desired goals. I then began my career as a life coach for women. I offered them coaching methods focusing on 4 different dimensions: well-being, change, balance and fulfilment.
I then went on to strengthen my coaching skills by taking the ludocoaching training course at Viavectis (Nathalie Ledur and Caroline Delmeire), where I learned how to use games as a vector for cultural transformation within teams. I was also trained in a very powerful coaching model called ‘The 6 levers of cooperation’ and certified in the use of the Totem game created by the 2 leaders of Viavectis to help teams work better together.
Between 2015 and 2023 I worked as an independent business coach. Together with a number of coaching colleagues, we have successfully led teams in the private, voluntary and public sectors, as well as in education (for both teachers and students). Our main mission was to get team members (management and field staff) to integrate cooperation reflexes and find more fluid ways of working together. All through games and creativity techniques.
In 2020, I met Martine Pyck (OrientaEuro & KeyBox Solutions) with whom I worked to create Self-employed, a pure joy, a coaching programme supported by Actiris (the Brussels employment centre) offered to jobseekers who wanted to start their own business as a self-employed person. It was there that I learned all the tools involved in entrepreneurial development. Together with Martine and 3 other coaching colleagues, we co-created and facilitated (face-to-face and/or remote) 13 workshops on entrepreneurial themes such as : Getting organized - Mission, vision, values - Business Model Canvas (BMC) - Client - Marketing and sale - Competition - Branding - Communication - SWOT - Financial plan - Accounting - Funding and Legal form. The programme stopped because of the COVID situation.
In 2021, I joined the Haute Ecole EPHEC where I have since worked as an entrepreneurial coach for the EPHEC ENTREPRENDRE programme. I help students to develop business projects through individual coaching, group workshops and networking events.
